The Unspoken Trade Show Rules and Etiquette That Nobody Talks About

This one's a little touchy, well, because etiquette is subjective, and can vary by person, by brand, and even by country. In this weeks episode, we sit down with Steve and Steve to chat about the psychology behind trade show etiquette, and how certain behavior during a conference is just, not okay.

Sure we all have different ways of approaching business, but when it comes to trade shows and event marketing, it's important to understand that your trade show booth, is your personal and private space. You, as the brand, should 'allow' folks, be it customers or trade show attendees, to enter your space. Be it as an open door invitation, or simply waiving them in, it's common courtesy to first make eye contact and allow the brand (owners, founders, booth staff) to welcome you into their space. The exact opposite end of that, means that you not only invited yourself into the booth space, but even worse, began to engage in products, by touching, moving, playing, and even taking pictures of products and services without the brands permission.

In this video we'll chat about some of the do's and don't behind trade show etiquette, and how a little bit of courtesy can help you defend your booth from those that are not as considerate as others while attending the conference.

Enjoy, and as always please reach out to our team directly for any of your trade show needs.
